چکیده
Background: Lupus nephritis (LN) occurs in about 30-60% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). LN is associated increased mortality. Currently, the diagnosis relies on histopathologic characteristics according to ISN/RPS classification (1). This heavily glomerular changes and may not accurately reflect all occurring LN. For description transplanted kidney, BANFF has been established which, addition changes, also incorporates tubular pathologies (2). Objectives: With present study, we aim describe a single-center cohort patients. Methods: We retrospectively recorded epidemiological, clinical laboratory data 58 over ten-year period. Histopathologic diagnoses or former WHO were documented. then re-analyzed representative kidney samples performed Spearman rank correlation for findings creatinine at biopsy 12 months as well proteinuria months. Results: analyzed 9 male, 49 female. Median age was 38 (15-78) years. According ISN/RPS, 3 had class I LN, 6 II, 14 III, 16 IV, V, 0 VI. eGFR 60 ml/min/1.73m2 (13-137). classification, tubulointerstitial inflammation (ti) Proteinuria interstitial fibrosis (ci) (Figure 1). Conclusion: In current puts emphasis changes. Nevertheless, long-term outcome, (tubulointerstitial fibrosis) least be important These have corroborated larger cohorts prespecified renal endpoints. Background: Despite several years of intensive investigation, relatively few studies have been made of children with lupus nephritis. The prognosis of children with lupus nephritis is poor for those with diffuse proliferative glomerulonephritis and active interstitial inflammation. As newer treatment modalities become available for patients with severe lupus nephritis, it become increasingly im...

BACKGROUND Isolated or predominant tubulointerstitial lupus nephritis is rare. CASE PRESENTATION Here we report the case of a thirty eight years old male who was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) according to clinical and laboratory criteria and presented with impaired renal function and non nephrotic range proteinuria. Renal biopsy revealed normal glomeruli but interstitial m...

ABSTRACT Background: The prognosis of SLE is int1uenced by the onset of glomerulonephtitis. Clinical ttials in lupus nephritis have demonstrated that cyclophosphamide therapy is the superior regimen in the management oflupus nephritis for preserving renal function. Objective: The purpose of this study is to define the outcome of renal function with bolus pu lses of cyclophosphamide and steroid...

Implication for health policy/practice/research/medical education: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a common multisystemic immunological disorder with protean manifestations. It commonly involves the kidney, which is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. In the kidney, it typically affects glomeruli and blood vessels with secondary involvement of tubulointer-stitial componen...
